How to Find Something
You can search for items using either:
- Category Links on left side of the webpage. As you click into these links, you should have the option to narrow down your selection again by using the links on the left side.
- Search Box on left side of the webpage. Enter a keyword or keywords in the search box. A listing of products will appear that meets your keywords.
How to Buy
Buying from us is easy and secure, just find the item you are interested in; then press the "Add to cart" button. When you place an order, you can feel confident that your credit card information is protected by our secure server.
For every item, there will be an "Add to Cart" button.
This button adds the item to your shopping cart. Putting something in your shopping cart does not commit you to buying it. You can put as many items as you want in your shopping cart. After you put something in your shopping cart, you can choose to see the estimated shipping fee, place the order immediately, or continue shopping.
- Not done ordering, just click the "Continue Shopping" button in your shopping cart.
- To see the shipping fee, click the "estimated shipping" button in the shopping cart. A small window will pop open requiring your limited shipping information. In order for it to assess the correct shipping fee, you must enter the country, state, and the zip code of your shipping address. The "UPDATE" button must be clicked for proper calculations.
- When you're finished and want to place the order, you can get back to your shopping cart by clicking on the "Checkout" button.
About Security
Secure servers are used to protect your personal information, including your name, address, and credit card information. Your online transactions are handled with industry-standard 128-bit SSL encryption. When you enter your credit card number into the order form, it is transmitted across the Internet in an encrypted (scrambled) form and not decoded until we receive it.
- Shopping online is actually considered fairly low-risk. According to CNN, "The prevalent opinion...is that on-line credit card use is actually no riskier for consumers than traditional "low-tech" transactions." You should feel as safe as you would using a credit card in a store or restaurant, if not more so.
Problems Ordering?
If you click on the Order button and get no response, it is probably because you can't connect securely to our server. To test whether this is the problem, have go to https://www.microsoft.com (note the s after http) and see if you can get through. If you can't get through to Microsoft either, then the problem is on your end.
There are two possible reasons people can't set up secure connections.
- They could have a really outdated browser, in which case they should get an upgrade.
- They could be behind a corporate firewall that won't allow secure connections. In that case the solution is either to ask the network manager to fix the firewall settings, or ask the customer to order from a computer outside the corporate firewall.
